Regarding this Surah, Tafsir Al-Qurtubi says: “It is about human beings who have been given attributes and charged with responsibilities. Allah's saying that they will bear the burden of their own sins, is to remind them that they cannot escape retribution on their own or others can protect them from it.” This surah also contains a verse which refers to "Al-Ghadir" (the oath). And if any obedience has been made for God, then great reward will be given.
